Signs from the other side are messages to me. After the death of my daughter, Melissa, as you would expect i had a horrible time coping with it all. 4 yrs or so after her death i had my first butterfly encounter. I went to the cemetary where she is buried to visit i was on my way to my tribe's annual powwow. It was also the weekend of her birthday. While there i saw a monarch butterfly land in the flowers on her monument. I didn't know then that i would begin a butterfly journal and fill it with stories that would amaze the biggest skeptics out there.

Please remember this site is for my daughter it isn't a political podium for anyone no matter who you are. IT's for spiritual topics that include life after death, signs from the those who have crossed over. It in no way, shape or form is a soap box for people to stand on. thank you

Happy Birthday Sweetie. Daddy and i left town that day. He wanted to get me away keep me busy so i wouldn't spend all day crying. We went up to Poverty Point, Louisiana where a ancient Native AMerican society once lived. So beautiful there. i felt your presence everywhere. we kept being runned over by butterflies and i even found a feather. thank you for a wonderful day.
p.s. glad we left no one remembered

a saga of butterfly encounters

in telling butterfly stories i will go back and forth in time. Good thing i have them all written down or i'd be lost as usual but here i will post them as i feel the need to share.
One year i was on my way to a local powwow which happen to fall on Melissa"s birthday that year. No butterfly visiting me at the grave. I left a birthday card with a little indian girl sitting on the grass playing with a butterfly.
At the powwow i was sitting at a vendor's booth staring off into space when i noticed a black and yellow butterfly buzzing over my head. I laughed to myself ok little girl i get the message. It wasn't till later that i realized that the butterfly that visited me at the powwow was the same color as the butterlfy on the card i left at her grave.
