in telling butterfly stories i will go back and forth in time. Good thing i have them all written down or i'd be lost as usual but here i will post them as i feel the need to share.
One year i was on my way to a local powwow which happen to fall on Melissa"s birthday that year. No butterfly visiting me at the grave. I left a birthday card with a little indian girl sitting on the grass playing with a butterfly.
At the powwow i was sitting at a vendor's booth staring off into space when i noticed a black and yellow butterfly buzzing over my head. I laughed to myself ok little girl i get the message. It wasn't till later that i realized that the butterfly that visited me at the powwow was the same color as the butterlfy on the card i left at her grave.

Re: a saga of butterfly encounters
Thu, July 8, 2004 - 11:45 AM5 yrs or so ago i had the following dream:
I dreamt i was on a free standing swing with a little girl about 4-5 years old. I was tiny at that age so anyway. I looked to my right and my husband was sitting there watching us. I said "Why don't you send me more signs, visit me more often" She said i do and formed her hands into a butterfly i do visit you i send you butterflies' i looked over at my husband who smiled and i turned back and grabbed her up in a hug and that's where i woke up.
so you see i don't need a medium or psychic to tell me she sends me signs i know it already *G* from the horses mouth as they say *G* melissa herself. -

Re: a saga of butterfly encounters
Tue, August 10, 2004 - 12:48 AMWhile in the city waiting at the redlight up beside our vehicle came a site that brought a smile and a tear to my eye a city bus believe it or not. What did i see? I saw a butterfly bus. It was called The Butterfly Bus a special paint scene i found out later by checking out the Shreveport Sportran Bus homepage. What a great surprise thank you Melissa for bringing a smile to your mom's face. -

Re: a saga of butterfly encounters
Tue, September 14, 2004 - 11:56 AMThe days are counting down Monday is Melissa's 13th birthday. Hope and pray my girl doesn't let me down i get a sign from her of some kind doesn't have to be a butterfly but we all know thats my favorite kind. Went to a powwow wasn't the best in the world but i did get to see old friends and even talked to one on the phone that tracked me down. Butterflies were there but none stood out.
